As far as the blog goes today i implemented the rss feed so you can now read the blog in your favorite reader. i personally suggest Google reader, especially if you already us Google's home page or email. I will be adding some galleries to the photography section very soon, just adding finishing touches on keywords so that i won't need to go back and add them all in later.

A little bit of information about me for those who don't know me. My Name is Cris Favero. I am 25 years old and currently do freelance programming and web design. I have been programming and designing websites since I was in 6th grade. It was there I was introduced to programming in BASIC on the, at the time, new apple IIe's. Since then I've taught myself a number of programing languages. I am most fond of any language that is inherently open source as this allows me to learn more about the language's inner workings. In addition, I predominantly use open source software since it is freely available I am able to develop in more languages, as apposed to needing to spend large sums of money on license's to learn something I may not ever have an opportunity to utilize. Aside from programming I am also an avid gamer and love attending LAN parties. I enjoy playing everything from old-school side scrollers, to Fist person shooters, to MMORPGs. Lastly I am an amateur photographer and love experimenting with different styles, settings, and places. Since buying a Nikon D70 Digital SLR camera 3 years ago I have shot approximately 30 Gigabytes of pictures, some good some bad.

The main purpose of this site is to showcase my work, both with computers and photography. For more detailed examples of my work please click either the portfolio or photography links at the top. Eventually I would also would like to branch into making tutorials to help others understand things that I myself have struggled with. After spending years learning I have come to realize the importance of this, the explanation of how you get through struggles as it is likely you are not the only one having them.

If you would like to contact me please feel free to email me at cristopher dot favero at gmail dot com

After a week or so of writing and testing all the main features of my new site it is now operational. That is not to say that all the features are all in place. In the coming weeks expect to see improved navigation links, comments, rss feed, and image keywords. In addition I am also open to suggestions for other ideas that might improve the site visually or for easier navigation.
